‍About the Role

In this role, you are a licensed doctor in Mexico and you will serve as a Health Coach to our U.S. patients (since you are not licensed in the U.S.), and also as a doctor to our patients in Mexico. We are looking for a doctor who enjoys thinking outside of the box: comfortable proposing solutions to problems they see, iterating and measuring the impact of their solutions, and collaborating in a fast-paced digital, remote environment.

Qualifications:

• Doctors with a valid professional title and license in Mexico or elsewhere in Latin America.
• Experience in general medicine consultation.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English (medical and conversational proficiency in English required.)
• Excellent quality of care and follow-up for patients requiring health guidance.
• Offering fully bilingual consultations in English and Spanish in a virtual format.
• Experience in utilizing digital health platforms.
• An interest and openness to new ways of work to improve the lives of those in need.
• Resilience, adaptability and professionalism.
• Experience creating clinical programs and content (nice to have.)

Responsibilities:

• Offer general medicine consultations through our digital platform in English and Spanish to patients in the U.S. and Mexico.
• Being the first medical point of contact and intermediary between the patient and U.S. Physicians.
• Creation and/or follow-up of electronic medical records, following regulations in different U.S. states.
• Utilizing motivational techniques to educate and engage patients into lifestyle changes for measurable health outcomes.
• Outreach over phone and SMS with patients who don’t attend their appointments or drop out of health programs, to engage and guide them to the changes needed for improved health.
• Collaborate with mental health professionals, customer engagement, and technical teams to create the best patient experience with MiSalud.
• Learn about the U.S. healthcare system in which you will operate as a health coach, and comply with regulations in your work with patients.
• Keeping up to date on training for our technology and health program/protocols – we are a startup and are constantly building new things!
• Attend our in-person biometric & enrollment events in the U.S. or Mexico at least once per year to meet our patients in person.
