About MiSalud Health

MiSalud Health is on a mission to make healthcare accessible and affordable for all by removing barriers of language, cost, and circumstance. We believe that the future of medicine lies at the intersection of human expertise and artificial intelligence. Whether we are building cross-border platform integrations or pioneering AI-augmented diagnostics, we lead with compassion and precision to create meaningful change in the lives of our members.

About the Role

This is a flexible, event-based contractor role with variable schedules (including occasional weekends). It is an ideal fit for recent graduates building clinical experience or clinicians preparing for specialization exams who want well-paid, flexible event work. You will represent MiSalud in front of employees, employers, and community partners, so strong interpersonal skills and clear communication are essential. You will act as a health coach for our U.S.-based socios, who speak Spanish and English. The socios do not have affordable access to healthcare and often need the additional patience, empathy and counseling of a trusted MiSalud team member in-person.

What You'll Do

Socio Education: Communicate health screening results clearly and compassionately, providing basic preventive health education in the patient's preferred language.

Socio Enrollment & Assistance: Assist socios in enrolling in MiSalud app and understand the health & mental health care services they are now receiving for free.

Documentation & Compliance: Accurately document all socio interactions and screening data in the MiSalud electronic health record according to MiSalud clinical standards.

On-Site Representation: Travel to U.S. event sites, representing MiSalud professionally with employer partners, brokers, and event staff (travel logistics and costs covered by MiSalud).

Preparation & Coordination: Complete required pre-event training on clinical tools and protocols, providing advance availability for event scheduling.

What You Need

Education: Licensed Nurse or Physician in Mexico with an active cédula profesional (recent graduates are welcome to apply).

Travel Eligibility & Availability: Valid passport and B1/B2 U.S. visa required. Must have a flexible schedule without active residency commitments (candidates studying for specialization exams with open availability between study blocks are encouraged to apply).

Bilingual Communication: Professional fluency in English (C1/C2) and Spanish to support diverse U.S. patient populations and corporate clients.

Clinical Knowledge: Practical knowledge of preventive health, common chronic conditions (diabetes, hypertension, cholesterol), point-of-care screening methods, and clinical documentation protocols.

Patient-Centered Approach: Ability to build rapport quickly, explaining lab results and medical information in plain, simple language for varied health literacy levels.

Event Mindset: Calm, organized, and adaptable in fast-paced event settings while acting as a professional ambassador for MiSalud.

Virtual, bilingual healthcare for Hispanic and Latino workforces. 80% enrollment. 3.5x+ ROI.
