At MiSalud, we've been listening to the evolving needs of America’s most essential industries, where a healthy and stable workforce is key to success.
We’re excited to announce several new and recent initiatives designed to support these businesses by expanding our hybrid telehealth services to provide more bilingual workforces accessible, trustworthy, culturally competent care.
In the third quarter we expanded our full hybrid on-site and telehealth service from 7 states to 16, a significant step in our mission to improve the health of workers in essential industries like agriculture, manufacturing, hospitality, energy, construction and retail. This expansion is a direct response to the growing need for our unique model, which combines the convenience of Spanish-first telehealth with the trust-building presence of job-site health screenings and wellness support.
Earlier this year, we introduced new mental health programs focused on general grief as well as migratory grief. Developed by an on-staff clinician who specializes in dying and bereavement, these programs provide essential support for individuals and families navigating death, other losses, and the unique emotional toll of adapting to new communities and cultures.
Sudden traumas can have lasting consequences if not addressed, even evolving into PTSD, chronic depression or substance abuse. We introduced our Psychological First Aid programming to teach coping mechanisms and resilience. We’ve also converted this support program into continuing education for human resources leaders and supervisors.
We’re launching an AI Nutrition Agent to help clinicians create custom nutrition plans that are not only medically sound but also practical and culturally relevant for each individual.
Our latest Agent considers a range of factors, including:
This initiative is a direct response to feedback from our team, and it underscores our commitment to making healthcare more personal and effective for the people we serve.
In response to direct requests from parents who use MiSalud, we are developing new pediatric coaching protocols. These will address critical concerns around child health, especially in the face of healthcare cuts and access issues. This new programming will include support for parents to help them recognize when a child is struggling and will offer guidance on topics like timely vaccination recommendations, nutrition, and sleep.
MiSalud is actively engaged in conversations to expand our services to more employers, with a strong focus on key industries like agriculture and food production, manufacturing, hospitality, retail, construction, and energy. Our pipeline of potential new partners is robust, reflecting the clear need for our specialized services in these sectors.
To support this growth, we have significantly expanded our team of coaches and staff and have expanded our clinical team by 30% in the last quarter.
These milestones are a testament to the hard work of our team and the trust placed in us by the communities we serve. We remain dedicated to breaking down barriers to care and building a healthier, more resilient future for everyone.
